According to the Enuma Elish, which is the Seven Tablets of Creation, the Igigi had rebelled against their leader, Enlil, due to the heavy workload placed upon them. The Igigi surrounded Enlil's house, and demanded the workload be removed from them. According to the Babylonian myth, the Igigi had been enslaved for 3600 years. To remove the burden from them, the Anunnaki overlord Enlil went to the high council and proposed a new man to replace the Igigi, and remove the burden from them. Enki (half-brother of Enlil) was the chief engineer in the creation of Homo Sapien humans. His sister Nintu was the second chief engineer. Also known as the Mother Goddess, Nintu took 14 clay pieces, mixed the blood of a dying Anunnaki with that of the blood of Homo Erectus (which was an already existing primitive species), and engineered 14 test tube babies---seven males and seven females. The Anunnaki engineered Homo Sapien humans to be a slave race, according to the Babylonian creation myth.
The Anunnaki, according to the ancient Gnostic Christians, was an extraterrestrial species, and compared the biblical Yahweh to the Demiurge, who was regarded as a secondary creator force of the material world, not to be confused with "the One" also called the One True Source, the Source, the True God, and One True God.
Stephan A. Hoeller wrote that "[t]he myth of the demiurge originated with Plato. In his Timaeus, Plato postulated the existence of a creator deity or “demiurge” who fashioned the material universe. The term demiurge is derived from the Greek word meaning “craftsman.” Although a craftsman and fashioner, it must be understood that the demiurge was not identical with the monotheistic creator figure; the demiurge and the material from which the demiurge fashioned the universe were both secondary consequences of another primary factor. The demiurge is thus an intermediate architect, not a supreme source" (Abraxas: Jung’s Gnostic Demiurge in Liber Novus).
Also called lord Archon by the ancient Gnostic Christians, the Demiurge was the leader of the Archons, which was an extraterrestrial race that, according to the ancient Gnostic Christians, were psychotic in nature, lacked empathy, like cyborgs, and envied humans for their ability to create, as the Archons could only imitate. The Archons could only imitate what was already in existence. The Archons also created parts of our Solar System, and engineered an updated version of a man known as Homo Sapiens.
"In the Gnostic Gospels of Nag Hammadi, written in the 1st Century, the writers warn us about the god of the Bible. Known as the "Demiurge" or "Yaldabaoth", he is described as an insane, demented imposter deity who works against humanity" (Lord of the Archons).
Although the 1st Century Gnostic Christians didn't look upon the Old Testament God Yahweh favorably, and differentiated between what they regarded as the supreme deity in the person of Jesus and the Old Testament creator deity, Ya-h-wa/Yahweh can be found on ancient Egyptian hieroglyphic texts dating back to the New Kingdom period of Egypt. According to Clyde Billington, "The two New Kingdom inscriptions which refer to “the Land of the Shasu of Yahweh” are found in topographical lists. One list is at Soleb and the second at Amarah-West."
Billington also wrote, "The term Shasu is almost exclusively used in New Kingdom texts for semi-nomadic peoples living in parts of Lebanon, Syria, Sinai, Canaan, and Transjordan."
