The Game of LIFE Is Your Greatest Game That Will Ever Be Played
Written by Alberta Parish
It is always a treasure and privilege when you can do exactly what it is that you love to do and preferably make a lot of money doing it. Sometimes, people end up in life doing things they don't want to do. But if you can take whatever talent or skills and use it in ways that uplift and influence others, then you probably have already exceeded expectations.
The game that is called LIFE is probably the greatest game that will ever be played. In the game of life as in sports, there's winners and losers. Now, this doesn't mean losing is always negative. Sometimes, you lose one thing and gain something else in the process that is far greater than the loss.
By losing something very dear to me, I have gained a greater love and understanding for people. Until you lose something that is irreplaceable is when you find yourself. You find who you are at the very core of your being.
When you look at yourself in the mirror, who do see in the mirror staring back at you? Many people go through life without purpose. Many have all kinds of struggles with alcohol and drug addictions. Many don't even know if they're going to wake up alive after their latest alcohol and drug binge. But what keeps you alive is the will to live. Dying can be easy, even effortless for some people. It is living with yourself and detrimental choices you've made is what's difficult for some.
The choice to do good to others. The choice to be a kind soul. The choice to not hate. These are all choices I made a while ago. Because I made these choices, I no longer see the quote on quote "White Guy" as threatening to my survival in America. The anger and rage I felt for so long just dissipated as if it was never there.
It reminds me of the 1998 drama film, American History X. The lead character played by Edward Norton was a neo-Nazi leader who had killed a black man and ended up in prison where he was raped by one of his own while in the shower area. Over time, he developed a change of heart and earned early release from prison. He went back home to his family, and recognized his younger brother already under neo-Nazi indoctrination who was later killed by a black teen and classmate. The story was set in Long Beach, California. This may have been based on a true story. He had a change of heart while in prison serving time for manslaughter.
Although I've never been behind bars or been a part of any black identity extremist group, I recognize the same energy that this neo-Nazi leader had in the film American History X was the same energy I was becoming all too acquainted with by way of social media and my association with the conscious community. I didn't dive off the cliff but I went to the edge and peeked over.
When it comes to hatred, there are no winners. The way that race relations have played out in this year alone not only in politics but also in sports is a huge problem because while politics have always been divisive, sports is meant to unify us across all socio-economic backgrounds, nationalities and ethnicities.
I guess we all can bitch about how unfair the world is but can you also be honest about yourself?
The way that some people go through life always at odds, always terrified of what might happen, and always in fighter mode is the quickest way to block out whatever good thing could present itself to them in their lives. Don't ever give up the opportunity to be happy. You know how many people wish they were happy with themselves? They wish when they look at themselves in the mirror, they can be proud of the face staring back at them.
Just like many, I'm figuring out the game called LIFE, and I don't always get it right. Sometimes, I mess up. I am sometimes my own worst enemy. But I am working on that.
I don't think anything I've learned in my first 20 years of life could've prepared me for some of the situations in which I found myself. I had a couple good things work in my favor to get me through some of these tough times, which were my mother and the church. More specifically, my pastor. No matter what I did, my mother and pastor never turned their backs on me. Unconditional love is not something that comes about every day for everybody. One of the worst things you could ever do to the human spirit is love that person on some condition that he or she must meet your standards or else you won't love them. Did you ever really love them at all? Definitely don't love a man or woman who's whipping your ass, or being verbally, and/or emotionally abusive to you. But real love doesn't come with condition. You either love unconditionally or you don't.

The Mind Is Most People's Biggest Battlefield
Written by Alberta Parish
Many people spend their entire life living in fear. When you can learn how to relinquish fear, you can really move obstacles from your path. You can find solace in the things that others take for granted. We all have an innate ability to fight for our own survival. Sometimes, in that process, we run across the thing that scares us the most. None of us are born with bravery but bravery can begin to develop in children as early as 1 year of age. Bravery like any other human emotion can be cultivated. Fear can also be cultivated.
No matter what I thought or believed about myself, I never could've predicted the places I'd end up, the people I'd meet along the journey, and the outcome all of this brings. I'm thankful for each life experience because in them valuable lessons were taught. You cannot overlook even the most inconsequential elements that shape and define who we are as a human family.
The thing that cripples most people is fear of the unknown. Many people walk around unable to fully enjoy their life because of fear. Really, fear has to come from a dark energy because it's not something that a loving Supreme Being who we call God would produce in humans. Fear of death, fear of the unknown, fear of failure, fear of others all works against humans.
We are forever at war internally within ourselves, trying to cultivate the good within us over the bad. The evil within has to be subdued daily, so that the good can prevail and dominate. You ever seen someone who's constantly fearmongering or attempting to cause widespread panic or despair? Every time you turn on your social media or TV, you are bombarded with talk of Chinese aggression toward her neighbors or Russian advancement in Ukraine. Anything that causes widespread panic and generates fear.
Although wars of aggression doesn't just come about overnight, it is usually a long process before the first missile attack is ever launched. But why is this conflict between Russia and Ukraine still waging? Why are our taxpayers still funding this ethnic cleansing? What kind of behind-the-closed door deal has President Biden made with the President of Ukraine? Whatever the public has been force-fed to think about this conflict is the complete opposite. They lie to us using the art of doublespeak in mainstream media, something the Nazis mastered in the 1930s, which the CIA later taught to its agents.
The amount of fear that mainstream media generate is enough to cause heart failure in some. We are constantly bombarded with negative news 24/7. Next week, it'll be the economy and inflation. The week after, it'll be climate change. The fear of losing it all is what keeps many rich people up at night. No matter how safe you were, there is always that one anomaly. We cannot control the future. But we can control the environment and what we allow in our environment. We can even control our thoughts.
Probably, the biggest battle you'll ever see is the battle of your own mind. You can't get away from it. You can't ignore it. You can't reason with it. The brain is the most powerful organ in the human body. It can wield you to life or it can turn on you.
When you live in your head mostly, there's always going to be some doubt, fear, or insecurities that seemingly creeps in from out of nowhere. These anomalies. You don't even know how the fuck they got there. All you know it's there, and now you must deal with it. These are what I call dark energies/dark imaginings. We all deal with these anomalies. In the way most people respond to these anomalies is the determining factor, which separates a strong mind from a not-so-strong mind. And believe me, there are many who crack under these anomalies.
The best way I know how to tell you to survive these dark imaginings is not to cater to these thoughts. You don't ever want to give these thoughts any power to drain your life force. Fear of death, fear of the unknown, fear of failure, fear of people: these are not from the human soul. These dark imaginings come from someplace else. The human soul is actually quite lovely when cultivated with goodness.

The Summer Blockbuster "Sound of Freedom" Is Definitely A Must-See
June 22, 2023
Written by Alberta Parish
The much anticipated blockbuster film of the summer, "Sound of Freedom" will hit theaters around the country on Independence Day, July 4. And it will definitely be a tearjerker.
Anyone who's read my work over the years knows I've written extensively on global child trafficking. Thousands of children go missing in this country alone each year only to end up victims of satanic sacrifices, in prostitution rings, and sex dungeons. It is the most lucrative industry the world has possibly ever known next to prostitution.
It is incumbent upon humanity that this humanitarian crisis of exploiting young children comes to an end. I think it is more child slaves today than in ancient times. We know these ancient cultures like the Romans who would take child slaves and have sex with them because they were considered property there only for the sole pleasure of their masters.
Today, this network of child trafficking involves many different entities from your Jeffrey Epstein types to the regular Joe Blow. There's just as many female child traffickers as their male counterparts. These people are highly sophisticated. They're often well insulated and protected unless somehow they find themselves in a precarious situation like Jeffrey Epstein did in 2019 while he was awaiting trial.
To this very day, I cannot dispel that perhaps his suicide inside the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan was not really a suicide but a homicide made to look like he'd hung himself.
There are too many moving parts here for this man to have ended up being the lone ranger in addition to his former girlfriend, Ghislane Maxwell, who was found guilty of child sex trafficking in 2021. Maxwell is currently serving time in a federal correctional institution in Florida.
The world of sex trafficking is a very dark place. To children that are caught up in their web, they are monsters. To the rest of us adults, these monsters look like normal human beings. Some even look harmless. There are so many stories from those who did manage to survive child trafficking about how they were forced to have sex with politicians and world leaders, leaders of industries, and other famous people. Children cannot consent to sex period! Any adult knows that children cannot consent. We must do our part to protect children from monsters.
Sound of Freedom is a must-see film for all ages.

Would Ja Morant Be Better Off Playing On Another NBA Team like the Miami Heat?
Written by Alberta Parish
Ja Morant gets it. He knows what he has to do. But I still believe Morant's talent would be better served in a market like Miami.
I admire Ja Morant as a player. I think he's worked hard to get where he is today. And I believe he's going to come back to the game and dominate next year.
I hate to see a talent like Ja Morant go to waste playing for a team that he may feel is the wrong fit for him. I could be wrong. I'm not God. I don't know what's going through a person's mind on a regular. Only Morant can solve his current problems. And that's all I got to say on the matter.
