Actor Jim Caviezel Appears To Be Shaken Up Following His New Film SOUND OF FREEDOM

 Written by Alberta Parish

When someone has come face to face with pure malevolency, it changes them. Learning how to come to grips with it is what's most challenging to many people. Even then, you'll never really get a pure understanding of the nature of unadulterated pure evil.

In Sound of Freedom, the character played by Jim Caviezel, crosses a point in his life where he either confronts the evils of child sex trafficking that plagues our culture and society. Or he sweeps it under a rug like much of American society.

The actor that plays the real life hero Tim Ballard appears to be shaken up by the evils that he himself have witnessed in the world of child sex trafficking and exploitation.

Having played the controversial historical figure known as Jesus in The Passion of the Christ, Jim Caviezel is no stranger to the face of evil. However, during recent interviews in which he promoted his new film, whenever I've peered into this man's eyes, something's definitely different. Something has changed. He no longer sees the world the same way he once has.

There are certain things I wish I could unsee, because forever it is burned into my subconscious mind. Once you see pure malevolency, you can't unsee it. Therefore, many people seek psychotherapy to cope with the trauma and malevolency they've witnessed. Many people end up on medication. Many people even become suicidal.

There are people in the world today that does not think or act like regular humans. These individuals have allowed dark matter to enter them or they have cultivated the darkness that was already within them from, perhaps, their childhood.

Many psychologists and psychotherapists who work with child psychopaths and children with narcissistic personality disorders know that there is a high potential for these children to grow up and become serial killers. Whatever hypersexualized activities they were exposed or overexposed to, perhaps, as children tends to be the driving factor behind the crimes they may later commit in the future against children. Many pedophiles are psychopaths.

The difference that separates a psychopath from a sociopath is empathy. One completely lacks empathy while the other has very little empathy for others. The empathy chip is completely missing from the psychopath, which is why many who harm children don't see anything wrong about what they've done. After raping a child, they don't see anything wrong. They don't care how it impacts society or families or communities. In his mind, the pedophile looks at a child, and they don't see that a child can never consent to sex. They see the child as a willing participant in their own fucked up fantasies that they have projected onto the child.

In the state of Georgia, the age of consent is 16. I think the age of consent should be raised to the age of 18, because of the predatory nature of many 30, 40, and 50-year-olds that purposely seek out teenage girls below the age of 18. Many of the predatory men are looking for some sort of sexual fulfillment that they cannot get from women closer to their age because, perhaps, they're not sexually aroused or attracted to women closer to their age. They may not get sexual arousal from women closer to their age, so they seek out teenage girls below the age of 18.

My grandmother's generation was forced into holy matrimony at very young ages like 15, 14, 13. Charlie Chaplin married a teenager who was 18 when he was in his early 50s. Elvis Presley was 25 when he married Priscilla at the age of 14. Baby Boomers were having children at 13 years of age by adult men. Children cannot consent to sex, and every adult knows this whether their pedophile mentality have justified it or not.

If we did not have current laws on the books regarding the age of consent, which is 16 in the majority of the States, we would be overrun by pedophiles marrying underaged girls!

We know the barbarism that currently exists in Islamic countries. In fact, those countries are overrun with child marriage and child slavery including sex trafficking of minors.

Jim Caviezel's life has been forever altered by the images that are burned into his subconscious mind. But I am reminded in the scriptures that God won't put upon us anymore than we can bear. The Supreme Being knew that Caviezel could bear this burden and go through it and come out on the other side victorious. I believe Caviezel knows that he has a rough road ahead of him because people are running scared in the world of child sex trafficking due to his new film, Sound of Freedom. May this film become a great commercial success, and change the hearts and minds of good people and provoke us to act now in the interest of protecting children from these predatory beasts that prey upon them. Whether you have children or not, it is our responsibility to protect children. If we do not protect them, who will? We have the resources to protect children, so how come child trafficking has become a billion-dollar industry? Because good people have sat back and did nothing to stop it from growing and spreading. However, if we all do our part to shed light upon the dark world of child sex trafficking, and not just sit back and act like you don't see it, then, perhaps, changes will begin to take form and rip out the guts of this global network. This is a true cause to join and push.

As a survivor of childhood molestation, I cannot even fathom what small kids and teenagers who are forced into the sale and trade for sex is even going through on a regular daily basis. But I can empathize. And Sound of Freedom is already having an impact on me although I have yet to see the film, because I'm already losing sleep over it.

Jim Caviezel is a very brave man. I don't even know if I could ever have put myself in the middle of operations to bring down child sex trafficking organizations, and it's not because I'm fearful for my life. It's because I might literally go insane if I were ever to see the things Caviezel has seen with his own two eyes.

I'm really in shock, and I haven't even seen the film yet. But I've seen quite a few interviews, and it is horrifying the things that I have heard. All I can say is go purchase a ticket, and support this movement to end this humanitarian crisis of child sex trafficking, and be ready to possibly have a few sleepless nights.

This Independence Day, Let Us Celebrate with a New Purpose in the Pursuit of Life, Liberty & Happiness

July 4, 2023

Written by Alberta Parish

In recent years, I didn't hold the 4th of July Independence Day in high regard. However, in light of the current state of our union, the 4th of July has significantly taken on special meaning for me. A revolution was fought upon our nation's shores almost three hundred years ago, which formed an independent and sovereign nation with constitutional laws of governance. Almost a hundred years later, the Emancipation Proclamation and 13th Amendment to the Constitution would be enacted and become the law of the land, borne of a revolution. Without this revolution, there would've been no Emancipation Proclamation or 13th Amendment.

Today, I celebrate Independence Day for the values that were put forth, which separated our nation from the monarchies that controlled Europe. I celebrate Independence Day also for the values that it espouses, which include life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Although our new enemies are not coming from across the seas in ships wearing red coats and long white trousers, the enemy is moving to demolish the Constitution and the principles upon which a revolution was fought on these same shores that once guaranteed to every citizen life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

On July 4, 1776, every citizen knew the true meaning of independence from Great Britain. The Second Continental Congress declared that the 13 colonies were no longer subject to the English Crown under King George III, and thus, the colonies were sovereign, and free to govern themselves. No longer under British control, the colonies grew what later became the United States of America.

Borne of a revolution, a nation was forged. This nation, although relatively new, had become the greatest this planet had ever seen. Now, this great nation has come under threat by enemies from within its borders, occupying seats of power and prestige. Enemies that don't want to see this nation remain sovereign and independent because of their own selfish greed.

Today, I celebrate Independence Day to remind our enemies that although they may have weakened this once powerful nation, they have not weakened the spirit of the nation. Our light, once shining bright as a beacon for others, may have dimmed but it will not be forgotten. Our enemies may have undermined its Constitution, but they haven't destroyed this nation's core values and beliefs.

Any leader that would be so foolish as to think American exceptionalism is a thing of the past is quite possibly an enemy of the people of this nation and should be wiped from our history book and forgotten like a bad memory.

Today, I celebrate Independence Day because I am a part of the experience of this nation - good or bad or in-between. I celebrate, because although my complaints are many, I can revel in the fact that the Emancipation Proclamation and 13th Amendment gave me whatever life I have today - good or bad or in-between.

Without the revolution, there would be no nation. Without the revolution, there would be no America. Without the revolution, there would be no Me.

The Historical Jesus

Written By Alberta Parish

On Saturday, July 1, I enjoyed a panel discussion on the historical Yeshua versus the Christ of faith. All the questions posed were good questions. Some I was able to answer with clarity and some I was not. However, each question provoked deep thought. We don't all know everything. Sometimes, we thought we knew what we knew maybe a year ago, but since then, the answer we thought we knew may have evolved. Thus, we are forever evolving in our knowledge and understanding of life, of our environment, the rules and constraints that bind us, and our spiritual journeys.

Although the Christ of faith is the universal concept of a messiah-like figure who represents all of Christendom in its current form, it took early church leaders several centuries to make up their minds which version of the Messiah concept they'd decide upon and put into canonical scripture, and other versions of the New Testament. The earliest records on the Christ of faith are the Pauline epistles, thirteen of which were dated between 60 and 67 AD. In addition, there were other epistles written some 75 years after the death of Paul, which were falsely attributed to him. The gospel according to Mark, who was a travelling companion of Paul and cousin of Barnabas, was written somewhere in between Paul's epistles. Dated sometime after 60 AD, Mark is the earliest of the Four Gospels. Alongside Mark, most of Paul's epistles tell the story of the earliest record on  the Messiah whom historians have come to know as Yeshua, which is an Aramaic translation of Yehoshua. Yehoshua is rendered Jeshua/Joshua. By the time of the Greek occupation of Palestine, the Greek version of the name Yeshua spelled J-E-S-U-S today was already a common name in the ancient world.

All Four Gospels contain contradictions, but they all settle upon a messiah-like figure called Jesus who lived in ancient Palestine, hailed from Nazareth of Galilee, had siblings, was a teacher of the law & commandments, taught in the synagogues on the Sabbath, observed the holy days of his people, was a healer, championed the poor and needy, was accused of sedition by the Romans, and crucified. The Christ of faith was resurrected from the dead and was seen by many after his resurrection. After 40 days, he ascends into the heavens with the promise that he'd return as both King of kings and Lord of lords.

The Jesus of history was also a teacher who started a new religion. His brother James became the head of the church at Jerusalem after his death. It is unanimous among biblical scholars and historians that the Jesus of history was a healer and miracle worker. Jesus also opposed the ruling class and their oppression of the poor. He hung around criminals. Like the Christ of faith, the Jesus of history also observed the Sabbath and other holy days. The Pharisees and Sadducees also became jealous of his fame. The Romans also took notice, and he was later accused him of sedition and of declaring himself a leader of his people. He was crucified by the government because they saw him as a potential enemy of Rome and perhaps would lead an uprising against them. In fact, a leader of the Zealots who came from the same countryside as Yeshua, whose name was Judas, was crucified in 6 AD for leading a tax revolt against the Romans. Finally in 66 AD, the Zealots waged war against the Roman occupation of Palestine.

All we really have are the records of Paul, the gospel writers, Pliny's writings concerning the early Christians, Josephus' writings, and Tacitus as empirical evidence. However, we are indeed absent of archaeological findings on the historical Jesus.

Pliny, when writing to the emperor Trajan (112 AD), asked for help on dealing with the early Christian community, some of whom he put on trial and later executed. During that time, the Christian religion was at conflict with the old Roman religion. The Romans weren't thrilled about this new god known as Christos that upstaged their ancient gods and goddesses. Prior to Yeshua, there were other messiah-like figures, which could be considered precursors to the New Testament Messiah such as Serapis, Mithras, even Julius Caesar who was deified after his assassination in 44 BC, and worshiped throughout the Roman world.

For years, skeptics have asserted that Tacitus' passage in his work, The Annals concerning Christus, was a Christian interpolation. But would Christians have described Christ's resurrection from the dead as a superstition that broke first in Judea but also found its way to Rome? According to The Annals 15.44, Tacitus wrote, "But all human efforts, all the lavish gifts of the emperor, and the propitiations of the gods, did not banish the sinister belief that the conflagration was the result of an order. Consequently, to get rid of the report, Nero fastened the guilt and inflicted the most exquisite tortures on a class hated for their abominations, called Christians by the populace. Christus, from whom the name had its origin, suffered the extreme penalty during the reign of Tiberius at the hands of one of our procurators, Pontius Pilatus, and a most mischievous superstition, thus checked for the moment, again broke out not only in Judæa, the first source of the evil, but even in Rome, where all things hideous and shameful from every part of the world find their centre and become popular. Accordingly, an arrest was first made of all who pleaded guilty; then, upon their information, an immense multitude was convicted, not so much of the crime of firing the city, as of hatred against mankind."

Many people don't believe that Yeshua/Jesus existed historically based upon zero archaeological findings. However, we have the earliest writings on the historical Yeshua, which suggest that someone fitting that description contained in the Tacitus passage, Josephus' writings titled, The Antiquities of the Jews, and other works, existed in First Century Palestine. We also have 2,000 year-old records by the ancient Buddhists kept by the Tibetans on what is alleged to be the missing years of Jesus from the Four Gospels when he was between the ages of 17 and 29. According to The Lost Years of Jesus written by Elizabeth Clare Prophet, the Tibetans claim that Yeshua also known as Saint Issa travelled to India and the Himalayas, and was taught the Vedas by the Brahmin priests. He was both student and teacher who also taught the Vedas to the lower caste. But soon, Saint Issa would butt heads with the Brahmin priests because he taught the Vedas to the lower caste. The legend of Saint Issa continued to grow from there. He returned to Palestine and began his ministry shortly after. He gained fame rather quickly and because he was well-known and popular among the masses, the ruling class began to take notice and they sought to have him speak to them. They took notice of his ability to draw huge crowds. After all, Yeshua was a man of the people, and the Roman rulers that occupied his country became afraid. This is when they sought to take his life. He was later accused of sedition and crucified.

Everywhere in the world, the Christ of faith is represented within each culture. There's the Hindu Jesus. Chinese Jesus. Indian Jesus. But the historical Jesus is a figure most people don't know about. It would appear that the historical Jesus was not really a pacifier. He opposed the Romans' oppression of his people. He would be the equivalent of a humanitarian had he lived today versus the ancient world.

The Christ of faith is what much of the known world knows. But the Jesus of history still remains a mystery to many, even many Christians. If Christ was a mere mortal and never divine, why can't we have faith in him still? The Christ of the New Testament is the same person as the Jesus of history. But very little is known of the personal life of the Jesus of history.
