Trump Orders Houses of Worship Reopened for Memorial Day Citing We Need More Prayer

Written by Alberta Parish

On Friday, President Trump ordered the states to allow houses of worship to reopen stating that we need more prayer. But it is not more prayer that we need. What we needed was to maintain stay-at-home orders and lockdown restrictions while Congress and the White House worked together to draft a strong economic plan ensuring small and medium-sized business owners as well as workers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic continued and guaranteed long-term financial stability for the duration of this pandemic. Instead, Congress passed the CARES Act in March, which issued a one-time stimulus check to qualified Americans and added an additional $600 to unemployment insurance benefits. But it was hardly enough to guarantee financial stability for millions of American workers laid off around the country whose incomes were significantly slashed. There were people used to earning up to $3,000 and more every two weeks before they were laid off due to the pandemic.

The CARES Act, which was signed into law by President Trump on March 27, 2020, had set aside billions of dollars for small businesses and corporations. However, many small business owners were still forced to permanently close their doors because not only were many still waiting for their payments but many also had not received payments as late as the end of April. A lot of mom and pop stores were forced to permanently close because the owners did not have a lot of savings before the pandemic and could not maintain expenses while taking in little revenue. Even if business owners had reopened earlier, many would not have been able to take in a lot of revenue as they did before the pandemic due to people not feeling comfortable that this pandemic is under control. Now that many businesses have reopened, many are still not making the same in revenue as they did before the pandemic.

As a resident of Georgia, not only was I irritated when Governor Brian Kemp lifted the lockdown restrictions putting non-essential employees on the frontlines of a global pandemic by allowing non-essential services to resume business on April 24, 2020, but I also felt like he is indifferent to the plight of the working-class poor and used Georgia workers as guinea pigs to be sent to the slaughterhouse first while he continues to safeguard himself and his immediate family from the frontlines of this pandemic. In fact, the day after Kemp reopened Georgia for business, over 60,000 people made their way to this state just to shop, get their hair and nails done, and buy some shoes. A lot of people couldn’t wait for this governor to lift mandatory lockdown restrictions and stay-at-home orders, so they can go visit with their girlfriends and eat out in dine-in restaurants. This global pandemic has not only exposed weakness in leadership from the Trump administration, but how fragile the economy is without the mom and pop businesses and working-class poor to keep it afloat.

Despite new coronavirus cases rising and the U.S. death toll now over 95,000 people, President Trump orders state governors to allow houses of worship to reopen for Memorial Day, which will potentially expose millions to viral infection and put countless lives at stake while he claims we need more prayer. No, what we need is medical officials to develop an effective vaccine and even a cure. If scientists were successful at developing and cultivating a new strain of coronavirus, scientists can also develop a cure.

What will prayer do for anyone currently laid up on a ventilator in a hospital fighting for his/her life? What makes anyone think that if there is a Divine Presence in the universe, it would be interested in saving us? What makes the human species worthy of salvation from any deadly virus? I feel like it is pure luck there aren’t over a million dead bodies globally from COVID-19 as of today’s date. I do not carry any grand delusion that any Divine Presence in the universe that humans decided to call God is going to protect and shield us from COVID-19. The only thing protecting me from natural or man-made viruses is a good immune system, and hopefully, no pre-existing conditions. All viruses are trying to survive like we’re trying to survive. All viruses have been on this planet, possibly for as long as humans have. Maybe viruses exist for the sole purpose of wiping out humanity? Although mankind has established his dominance on the planet, it does not appear that we are indeed the most dominant species on the planet. All it takes is one virus to establish that we are not the most dominant and smartest species on this planet. All the prayer in the world will not save us from the virus. Perhaps, in a thousand years, modern humans will go into extinction. Perhaps, a virus will be the cause of mankind’s extinction.

Instead of Trump putting pressure on the governors to reopen the states, he should have encouraged governors to maintain lockdown restrictions and stay-at-home orders while working with Congress to produce legislature for a long-term economic plan for the country. A better economic plan would’ve been the second stimulus proposal that was brought to the floor of the Congress shortly after the CARES Act passed. The second stimulus proposal include $2,000 per month for up to 12 months including rent and mortgage cancellations. Many people around the country are still laid off and could use a $2,000 monthly check. Is prayer going to pay their rent or mortgage? Will prayer keep you from falling sick at work due to contracting the coronavirus on your job even with safety measures being practiced? Will a large plexiglass barrier in a store keep me or the employee from contracting the coronavirus?

While Trump touts that we need more prayer, I need better healthcare, better health insurance, better pay and universal basic income. I need a better life. I need to be happy. Is prayer going to make me happy? When have I ever said a prayer in my entire life and my utility bills and rent were miraculously paid? When was the last time prayer actually healed the sick and diseased? What would be the need for the hospitals if prayer actually heal people?

Listening to White House officials lying to the public and trying to play on the public’s intelligence will not make this pandemic crisis go away. What they are really counting on is that we remain sheep, and usually sheep graze the field all day and eat and do the same thing day after day until winter and eventually are led to the slaughter. Sheep don’t question anything. Sheep are usually meek and do what they are told. You can also attack them, and they won’t attack you back. The Trump administration really want the American workers to be like the sheep of the field. They don’t want you, the sheep, to focus too hard on your safety and the safety of loved ones, because they need you to save the economy. They want the sheep to remain good little lambs of the field and save the economy. They don’t want you, the sheep, to question their authority even if they continue to put your lives at stake and never compensate your families if you die.

It is time for change. The old ways aren’t working. There is too much economic inequality, too much hoarding of wealth, too much unequal distribution of wealth, too much greed, too much pride, and as a species our ways are destructive. And if we don’t change as a species, we’re doomed as a species just like this economy.

Beloved Pastor Dies of COVID-19 days after Proclaiming “God is larger than this dreaded virus.”

Written by Alberta Parish

A beloved bishop of New Deliverance Evangelistic Church in Chesterfield, Virginia died of COVID-19 just days after proclaiming to his congregation that “God is larger than this dreaded virus,” according to the Washington Post. Michelle Boorstein further wrote, “Bishop Gerald Glenn, 66, founder and leader since 1995 of the New Deliverance Evangelistic Church in Chesterfield, was the first black chaplain of that community’s police department and was a police officer before becoming a pastor, the Richmond Times-Dispatch reported Sunday.”

In the past several months, clergymen and pastors around the country have died of the coronavirus. Subsequently, many people whose death certificate list COVID-19 have also died of pre-existing health conditions. In fact, the number of coronavirus deaths in the U.S. aren’t even accurate for several reasons but one reason is many people who presented to the emergency room during March and April and later died were never tested for the coronavirus. Many had pre-existing medical conditions for which they presented to a hospital. It was then they were labeled with COVID-19, isolated, and put on a ventilator machine. In recent weeks, many videos have surfaced on social media in which nurses now claim that medical staff was being pressured by their superiors to label patients as having COVID-19 even if they presented to the emergency room with a pre-existing condition. One nurse who volunteered to go to a New York hospital and work on the COVID-19 floor released a recent video claiming that it wasn’t COVID-19 killing the patients. With tears flowing down both cheeks, the nurse said that the hospital staff is killing the patients. She said that some nurses don’t know how to properly operate the ventilator machines, and people are dying from these ventilators. She also said they don’t care about these people and are letting them die. Although mainstream media has largely ignored these stories, social media has exposed the malpractice happening inside some hospitals even as medical staff and first responders are praised all over the country for their diligent service on the frontlines of this pandemic.

Coronavirus deaths in the U.S. now exceed 74,000, which are not accurate numbers because many people never presented to an emergency facility and died at home, which mean as of today there could be well over 100,000 people in the U.S. who have died from this pandemic. The number of deaths could be either much higher than reported or much lower since doctors have been pressured to label patients as having succumbed to COVID-19 even if they were never tested for the virus and could have possibly died from a pre-existing condition. The number of U.S. coronavirus cases may also be higher than the current statistics indicate, because millions of Americans have never been tested. Millions who have already contracted this virus never showed any symptoms.

Whether or not the number of cases and deaths have been falsified, we are still dealing with a very real virus. I have lived through the HIV/AIDS pandemic. I have also lived through SARS and MERS. I will live through COVID-19 having the proper information to protect myself while continuing to social distance. I am not going to pretend like this virus isn’t real. Viruses have existed long before I was born, and they will exist long after I’m gone.

Many people like to pretend they live in a world of make believe and fantasy where nothing bad ever happens to them. They like to pretend that an invisible and divine being is ever present and protecting them while everyone else not under that same umbrella of protection gets punished. However, COVID-19 does not recognize your gods or divine saviors from any spiritual and religious belief systems. It does not recognize that you’re a Christian, Muslim, Hebrew, Hindu, Jew, Voodooist, or Kemetic. Your best bet in fighting off viral infections is having a healthy immune system and no pre-existing health conditions. Believing you are immune to this virus or putting your faith in divine saviors are not going to save you. If the hospital staff does not save you or at least care enough about you to save your life, it probably will be the end of the road for you.

While you are making plans for the summer, keep in mind that we are still in the middle of a global pandemic. Although I do not agree that everyone who presents to a hospital facility complaining of chest pain, headache or a sore throat has contracted the coronavirus, there are plenty of new cases that continue to plague the country. Before this pandemic, many people took their lives for granted. Many took their wives and sexual partners for granted. A lot of people couldn’t wait for these lockdown restrictions and stay-at-home orders to end, so they can go back to cheating on their wives or partners. But during the age of COVID-19, chasing your next sexual conquest this spring and summer would not be in your best interest as this virus can be contracted through any physical and sexual contact. Many of you need to stay single anyway because not only are you horrible partners but you’re walking around with other types of viruses like sexually transmitted diseases and infecting other people. Since many of you also do not like using condoms, poking your junk everywhere probably won’t work out too well for you for the duration of this pandemic. Because this virus is also an airborne disease, it can travel through air condition vents, which is why people have a greater chance of viral infection during the summer in any heavily air conditioned building such as hospitals, nursing homes, senior assisted living facilities, highrises, offices, etc. no matter how many feet you are away from an infected person.

As soon as state governors announced the reopening of nail and hair salons, gyms, tattoo and massage parlors, bowling alleys and other non-essential services, people couldn’t wait to get out the house and go shopping. People couldn’t wait to go see friends and sexual partners for hook-ups, and shop for things they really don’t need. But this speaks volumes about American consumerism and greed as state governments further place medical professionals and first responders in harm’s way while sacrificing pockets of the country like meat processing workers knowing full well this virus is highly contagious and does not operate like the seasonal flu. When was the last time the regular flu caused young adults to have mild strokes weeks after they have seemingly recovered? When have you seen the regular flu turn people’s toes black and blue, or induce heart attacks in children?

Being back at work this week has made me realize the lack of concern many people in the public have for others, as I have seen shoppers walk around the store not practicing social distancing and acting as if they’re immune to this virus or cannot contract this virus. One customer even told me that she pleads the blood of Jesus over me for protection as if she has given me some special immunity because she said a few words. Although she really believes what she said, Jesus never historically existed. And putting your faith in non-existent persons or entities will not save you. Belief in the gods will not save you. In fact, waiting on Jesus to come back and save you will probably be the death of you. Unfortunately, there are too many people around the world who are ignorant, unread, don’t have a desire for the truth, continue to stay blind to the truth, are easily manipulated, care only for superficial pleasures like alcohol, drugs, sports and partying, and focus way too much attention on non-essential pursuits and, as a result, it’s already too late for humanity. In less than a hundred years from now, the United States will no longer be a republic with the Constitution as the major document governing this nation. The United States as an idea will not exist in one hundred years from now. Neither will humanity be the same type of humanity a hundred years from now. But it will be a brand-new species, linked to artificial intelligence. In one hundred years, all Abrahamic belief systems will be obsolete. If I died and was somehow brought back from the dead 100 hundred years from today, I’d be returning to a society void of freedom without the first and second amendments to the United States Constitution, because there would no longer be any Constitution.

People who tell you that Jesus will protect you with his blood are really doing you a disservice, and is further exposing you to danger, especially when you already have grand delusions of a divine figure protecting you. You must continue to social distance. This includes keeping your willy in your pants and your dress down to strange people. Don’t visit people you have not visited in a long time. This is not the time to be feeling invincible like you’re suddenly immune to this virus, because God isn’t saving anyone. Not even his own servants.

Has anybody ever stopped to think that perhaps your God doesn’t want to save us? If God is real, why should he or it save us? Whatever or whoever this God is, why should he or it care enough about our species to save us? Perhaps, the objective is not to save us from anything. Like in the movie, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, current human DNA is perhaps being altered through the introduction of this novel virus also known as SARS-CoV-2, to make way for a genetically modified “future” human. All viruses that have been on this planet continue to remain on this planet despite vaccines and the wonders of modern medicine. Thus, the health industry’s objective was never to find cures for these natural and man-made diseases. But to grow these viruses for the purpose of genetic modification of humans and engineering a different human species.

Health Expert warns second wave of coronavirus in the fall

May 2, 2020

Written by Alberta Parish

A little more than a week ago, Governor Brian Kemp was among the first state governors to lift lockdown restrictions and allow businesses to reopen their doors, followed by backlash from the Mayor of Atlanta, who made her disapproval publicly known stating it was too soon for businesses to reopen and people to return to these businesses while coronavirus deaths continued to rise in Georgia. Against the advice of health experts, state governors around the country have ended their shelter-in-place orders, opening hair and nail salons, tattoo and massage parlors, gyms, bowling alleys, nightclubs, bars, dine-in restaurants, movie theaters, and more.

The biggest U.S. mall owner, Simon Property Group, has said 49 of its malls and outlet centers will reopen throughout the country amid the coronavirus pandemic, according to an internal memo obtained by CNBC. As coronavirus deaths continue to rise in the U.S., Simon Property Group like all other businesses feel as though with implemented safety precautions it will be able to protect their employees and the public from exposure to the virus. With safety measures in place, the cases of exposure may be minimal. However, the malls won’t be any safer than the grocery stores and one-stop shopping centers like Wal-Mart. People will twice as likely be exposed to this virus in huge malls such as the Mall of Georgia and Lenox Square where at least several thousand people can be found shopping on any given weekend.

Already people are making plans for the summer as if the coronavirus will no longer be a threat. While you’re busy planning vacations and talking about attending upcoming NFL games in September, beware we’re in the midst of a pandemic for which there is no current vaccine available. In fact, medical professionals and first responders will be dealing with this pandemic for the next 2-3 years while the mainstream media’s underreporting concerning new coronavirus cases and deaths during the summer is what’s going to be the death of millions coming this fall. To get us not to think too much about the spread of this virus through the summer, mainstream media will probably underreport new coronavirus cases and deaths telling you this virus is behind us, the number of new cases have dropped and COVID-19 has been contained in New York and other places, which previously saw high cases and deaths during the first quarter of 2020.

In a recent interview with Meet the Press, White House coronavirus response coordinator, Dr. Deborah Birx, when asked about the Vice President’s prediction that COVID-19 will be largely behind us by Memorial Day, her response was, “It gives us great hope when you project out Boston and Chicago and certainly the New York metro, which we’re all still very focused on. We continue to watch this very closely but that’s where the projections take us.” Then she added, “social distancing will be with us through the summer to really ensure that we protect one another as we move through these phases.” Dr. Anthony Fauci, an immunologist and head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, have also warned a second wave of the pandemic in the fall which will also coincide with the seasonal flu. This means twice as many people will lose their lives from either the coronavirus or Influenza later this year.

Asymptomatic people will spread this virus during the summer

There’s a possibility there will be less coronavirus cases and deaths during the summer. They may even be less hospitalizations in hot spots like New York, New Jersey, and Chicago. But this virus is not going anywhere due to summer weather. Asymptomatic people will continue spreading this virus, and by the time flu season arrives in October, this is when we’ll see a spike in hospitalizations.

This summer, many people will have forgotten the threat level of COVID-19 and returned to business as usual, attending sporting events, packing theaters, nightclubs and bars while vacationing with family and friends. Many people will also have relaxed their social distancing measures believing they are immune to this virus and they’re invincible because they didn’t die in the first wave. But the United States is not in the clear. And no one should be so quick to go visit people. Neither should you be so quick to go on your regular summer vacations. Because you are 25 years old does not make you invincible to this virus.

The coronavirus pandemic will not only be with us through the summer but during the next 2-3 years. But try not to panic. You can control how you move about and who you choose to be around. Some of you are way too needy and feel like you must always be around someone or in the presence of a lot of people. Learn how to be by yourself. You do not always have to be with a lot of people. It’s okay to be by yourself sometimes. Some of you will probably contract the coronavirus later this year because you’re always with a large gathering of people. Do not underestimate this virus because going to the mall, getting your hair and nails done, working out at the gym, grocery shopping, and being at work every day already puts us at a much higher risk of viral infection in the next coming months. This is far from over. This pandemic will claim so many more lives, and there isn’t a damn thing anyone can do to change it. In fact, all we can do is wait and see.
