The Only Reason Caitlin Clark's Popular Is Because She's White

Perhaps, it's time to say the quiet part out loud. Caitlin Clark is not a generational talent. Perhaps, her whiteness isn't enough to make her a generational talent. 

Her shooting percentages have been abysmal from the field and three-point range. Her offense is limited, and she is a defensive liability. On top of the alleged injuries, some of her superpowers have seemed to wane. In college, she looked very good against lesser talent. In the WNBA, the Iowa superstar has struggled to meet expectations while Angel Reese has elevated her game and status.

The online abuse and mistreatment suffered by Angel Reese has made her mentally stronger. In the face of consistent online criticism, she has accelerated in her craft, and has gone above expectations. No amount of complaining about the referees Caitlin or her brother Colin Clark has done explains away her atrocious shooting percentages from the field and 3-point range this season. She should feel embarrassed because her game is pure trash, and she can't really deal with the physicality of the league. 

All of Caitlin's antics, and all of her fans' antics have caught up with her. Ostracizing me and other people in the online WBB space who don't worship Caitlin Clark has also had a negative impact on her season. The Fever is not going to win a championship with her. I doubt if the Fever ever will. This is not a championship roster, and DeWanna Bonner knew it from the start of the season. Caitlin should not have had DB benched. That was trifling, and it was weak. Caitlin should have added arsenals to her game during the offseason. She's limited in offense, and she is trash on defense. 

Caitlin's problem is a spiritual problem, which has bled over into her season with her low shooting percentages, and all of her alleged injuries. For two years, her fans have essentially tormented Angel Reese. Clarkies trashed Angel's game, and her appearance for two straight years. Everything Caitlin's fans have done to hurt Angel, you can see it reflected in what's happening to Caitlin Clark. Clarkies tried to ensure Angel wouldn't be a part of this year's All-Star game, but y'all superhero Caitlin is now coaching the All-Star game from the sidelines. She also didn't want to be further embarrassed in the 3 PT contest. Yet, y'all see her at the All-Star game as a coach. I don't think she really wanted to play in the All-Star game because she's hiding. Her mental health is taking a beating due to her poor performance from 3-point range, and from the field.

The Fever should not allow Caitlin Clark to return to the starting lineup this year. She is not ready for the WNBA.
